We did it!
We completed our challenge today, one day before what would have been Mum’s 67th birthday.
Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored us – it’s really helped to keep us going.
If you’d still like to make a donation, please visit our Just Giving page.
Thanks again for all of the kind words and support.
Barry, James, Louise, Mia, George, Chris, Justine, William and Adam
Mia and George complete their targets too!!
Lots of activity as well as cycling – water skiing, kayaking and sailing to finish off the challenge. They too will continue to add miles to help meet the overall target.
Over half way there and Adam hits his target
Between us we have now completed over half of the 4481 miles we set ourselves with 30 days to complete the other half.
Well done to Adam who completed his 100 miles today. He’s going to keep going to see how many miles he can do by 23rd August. George and Mia are also very close to hitting their 100 mile targets.
Thanks to everyone who has sponsored us so far. If you’d like to make a donation please visit our JustGiving pages.
7.30am – 30 miles to start the day in St Lucia
Last school run on the bikes!!
Dad gets on his bike
Don’t confuse him with Chris Froome despite the physical likeness…!
First donation received!
Thanks to Justine’s new employers, Amarinth and my skill (luck) on the roulette table at their recent 10th anniversary party we have our first donation to the Stroke Association.
I won the most (pretend) money on the night and was rewarded with a £100 donation to a charity of my choice.
Let’s hope for many more donations!
Chris
Remembering Mum and Helping Others
Our dear mum, Margaret Rudolph, sadly passed away on 18th May this year following a stroke. She died in Anchorage, Alaska as mum and dad had been on a cruise when she was taken ill.
We have decided to raise money in memory of mum for The Stroke Association and Barbara Bus, a charity close to her heart.
As a family we are aiming to run, ride or walk the distance between London and Anchorage (4481 miles) before what would have been mum’s 67th birthday on 23rd August 2013. You can view our progress by following the links at the top of the page.
If you would like to support us, please follow the links to our Just Giving page. Many thanks.
